Serving on a Chamber committee allows you to get the fullest value out of your membership by meeting new people, getting your company name before the public, and knowing the satisfaction of performing a valuable service for this community.
YOU CAN JOIN ANY COMMITTEE AT ANY TIME AND PARTICIPATE FOR AS LONG AS YOU WISH. CALL THE CHAMBER TO GET MORE INFORMATION!
AMBASSADORS COMMITTEE
Is the goodwill and social arm of the Chamber. Ambassadors assist with grand openings, welcoming new businesses or assisting existing businesses. They also make special efforts to include new members in Chamber activities.

Ribbon Cuttings
Grand Opening Celebrations
MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
Is to assist in the attraction and retention of Chamber members and to encourage volunteer involvement.
Activities:
Organize a membership drive to attract new members
Assist with the retention of existing members
Plan member events such as breakfasts, mixers, etc.
BUSINESS/EDUCATION COMMITTEE
Is a collection of business people and educators interested in working together to offer more opportunities for our youth. The committee includes the School to Work initiative at the high school.
Plans and holds the Chamber’s Annual Golf Outing. Committee members are responsible for scheduling the event, including the prizes, fundraising and coordination of all activities.
BUSINESS FAIR COMMITTEE
Is responsible for planning, development and implementation of the Chamber’s semi-annual Business Fair. The Fair’s purpose is to give exposure of local businesses to thousands of potential customers that are interested in purchasing products and/or services.
AWARDS/RAFFLE COMMITTEE
Is responsible for organizing the Wine, Dine & Bid fundraiser auction and annual awards program held in March of each year.
MOONLIGHT CHASE GRANT COMMITTEE
The Moonlight Chase presents grants each year from the race proceeds. A five member committee reviews the applications and awards grants at the Chamber's Holiday Mixer.
SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE
The Chamber awards a scholarship to a North Scott High School Senior each year. A three-five member committee reviews the applications and awards the scholarship at the Chamber's annual Wine, Dine & Bid Night.
